Adult Sunday School …10:10 - 10:55 am
Challengers Class members meet in the church library, room 101. This winter and spring the group is studying Faith Lessons by Ray Vander Lann - TheEarly Church, Prophets & Kings, In the Dust of the Rabbi, Fire on the Mountain, Walk as Jesus Walked, and The Path to the Cross.Contact Alice Leggett for more information (460-3218).
Contemporary Journey Class is an adult class/discussion group that meets in room 210. During the fall months, the class is using study guides which focus on current event topics. Each lesson is separate and does not build on topics from the week before. They Contact Michele Anderson (490-7513) or Shari Beasley (464-0170) for more information.
Discovering Disciples Class is made up of singles and couples of varying ages.They meet in room 204 and also get together for various social events and mission projects throughout the year.The studies promote group participation, using a discussion-type format. The September studyis Colossiansand the point of contact is Chris Safrit (464-5253).
Friendship Class has a mature membership, averaging 45 in attendance each Sunday.There are six teachers who bring a variety of interpretations to the Adult International Education series, in a lecture presentation.The class meets in room 117. Contact Alice Eadie (460-3228) for more information.
J.O.Y. Class (Jesus, Others, Yourself) is a group of middle and senior ladies, that meet in room 102.Four teachers provide leadership as the class studies the International lesson series- augmented by lecture, discussion, and video presentations.This fall’s curriculum includes Joshua, Judges, Ruth.All are welcome to enjoy warm fellowship and lively discussion.The contact person is Jackie Pontifex (464-4204).
Living Bible Class is a discussion class, focusing on First & Second Peterduring the fall months. The class of meets in room 114. Each member is encouraged to participate in the discussions led by Jim Bergdoll (474-1029) and other class members.
Men’s Bible Class meets in room 112.Jon Groff (412-4214) is the contact person and primary teacher.All men are welcome! The group is studying Wisdom Books of the Old Testament by Mickey Efird followed by the Minor Prophets.
Youth Sunday School …10:10 am
Middle-Schoolers and Senior High Youth gather to fellowship, to explore God’s Word and to pray.They meet for Sunday morning Sunday school at 10:10 am and from 5:30 - 7:30 pm Sunday evenings. B.U.M.Y. (Baylake United Methodist Youth) enjoy fellowship time and discuss contemporary youth issues in light of God’s Word. Numerous, sometimes spur of the moment, activities add to the fun and excitement of youth ministries at Baylake, under the leadership of Emily Crowder (ECrowder@BaylakeUMC.org).Special events include roller-skating, district events, dances, concerts, retreats, pool parties, etc.

Childcare
Baylake’s nursery provides staff and volunteers for all worship services and most church-related activities.
All children are welcome in worship services. On Sunday morning, the nursery is available for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Children 3 years old and above are invited to Sunday school upstairs during the Sunday school hour, 10:10 – 10:55 am. Preschoolers meet in room 206.
