Moving Forward Into 2010...

The Church Council of Baylake United Methodist Church passed the following proposals on May 26, 2010:

1. That Baylake UMC establish both a Building Renovation Committee and a Financial Capital Campaign Committee to raise funds and implement projects identified by the Transformation 2010 Study Committee.

2. To authorize the Building Renovation Committee to proceed with the project which shall not exceed $800,000. Baylake authorizes the Building Renovation Committee to use the funds raised by the Financial Capital Campaign Committee. The project is to be completed on a “cash only” basis with no incurrence of debt by Baylake UMC.

3. To authorize that the remaining proceeds of the parsonage sale (approximately $170,000) be made available to the Building Renovation Committee to begin the various projects.
