What is United Methodist Women?
A group of women in each United Methodist
congregation organized for mission.
Our Purpose
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

Organizational Structure
Fay Bennett Circle meets on the second Wednesday evening of the month at 7:00 pm. (Contact Gayle Reske, 757-464-2041, for meeting location and more information.) Hearts & Hands for Him meets the second Monday morning of the month at 10:00 am at the Westminster Canterbury Chapel. (Contact Georgenia Compton, 757-464-1217) for circle meeting location and more information.) Kathleen Ober Circle meets the second Tuesday morning at 10:00 am. (Contact Patty Morrisette, 757-499-8303, for meeting location and more information.) Barbara Pryor Circle meets the fourth Monday at 6:30 pm. (Contact Karen Hollerbach, 757-403-0227, for circle meeting location and more information.) LADIES IN FAITH TOGETHER (LIFT) meets third or fourth Sunday afternoon at 4:00pm at Baylake UMC.
